Curator by KTMC · operations intelligence

Every machine, every truck, every part. Understood.

Curator tracks the wear on every component, builds records from a photo, guides your operators step by step, and explains why things broke, citing your own records. Built for operators, by operators.

Core platform · every industry

One system for the machines, the parts and the people

Curator replaces the spreadsheet, the whiteboard and the binder of manuals with one place that knows every asset down to the bolt.

See everything

One screen, from the floor to the fleet.

  • Dashboard. OEE, downtime, maintenance due, risk alerts, production calendar and project tasks.
  • Machines & assets register. Specs, operating limits, OEM settings, dimensions, serials and VINs.
  • Floor plan. To-scale 2D and 3D layout, electrical view, racking, drains and walkways.
  • Reports. Downloadable reports, including ROI reports for the owner's desk.

Data that enters itself

Snap a photo. Skip the typing.

  • AI photo intake. Photograph a machine plate or a truck door sticker and the record builds itself.
  • Document & manual ingestion. AI reads PDFs, spec sheets and spreadsheets, then indexes them so they're searchable.
  • Part condition checks. Photograph a part and AI estimates its remaining life and what to do next. Technician notes feed back in.

Maintain ahead of failure

Know what's wearing out before it stops you.

  • Wear components. Expected life per part, % used, alerts at 90% and projected replacement dates.
  • Maintenance schedules. Based on the calendar or on runtime hours, with overdue tracking.
  • Maintenance & failure records. Costs, parts, technicians and downtime minutes in one history.

Run the team

Procedures, projects and access, under control.

  • SOPs & documents. Versioned procedures and a document archive with restore or delete-forever.
  • Projects. Gantt charts, tasks, assignees and daily timesheets with photos.
  • Team & security. Roles, access by section, two-factor sign-in with 30-day trust and lockout protection.
  • Operators & readiness. A personal link for every operator, photo-proof checklists and first-to-submit readiness broadcasts.

Curator AI

Ask why. Get the answer from your own records.

Ask anything in plain language. Curator answers from your maintenance history, manuals and SOPs, shows where each fact came from, ranks the likely causes and tells you what to do next. It also draws on a curated Reference Library of industry knowledge.

  • Grounded. Every answer cites the record, manual page or SOP it came from.
  • Diagnostic. The “why” engine ranks causes with a confidence score for each.
  • Hands-on. It can draft checklists and log work for you, and always asks before it changes anything.

Why it pays

Breakdowns are the most expensive way to find out

Every hour a line sits idle or a truck waits on a part, you pay for labour, lost output and rush shipping. Curator moves you from fixing failures to preventing them.

27 hrs

That’s the average large plant’s unplanned downtime. Alerts at 90% of a part’s life give you time to schedule the fix instead.

Our story

We didn’t study this industry. We survived it.

KTMC started with one used filler and a line squeezed into less than 300 square feet. We learned maintenance the expensive way: parts that died without warning, manuals nobody could find, and paperwork that never matched the floor. Curator is the system we wished we’d had.

The KTMC team building out the plant

About KTMC

We didn’t study this industry. We survived it.

KTMC Holdings is a manufacturing and logistics company that built its own operating system, and now offers it to others. Curator is that system: built for operators, by operators, because we were the operators.

The story

From one used filler to an operating system

1

The drink

KTMC started as a ready-to-drink yerba mate company. Co-packer minimum orders were punishingly high, so we took the biggest leap a drinks brand can take and decided to make it ourselves.

2

The homework

Before we rented a single square foot, we spent a full year learning the machines, the regulations, the systems and the industry itself.

3

The hard part

Beverage manufacturing is built for big players. Machines and specialists were expensive, consultants were unavoidable, and more than once people took advantage of us. When money got low, we did the physical work ourselves, and that taught us every part of the industry.

4

The system

We couldn’t afford a big plant’s staff, so we automated and recorded everything to stay efficient and consistent. Our first line filled 4,000 bottles an hour in under 300 square feet. That survival kit, turned into a product, is Curator.

Trucking & heavy machinery software

Treat every truck like a factory

Hundreds of parts per unit, each with its own service life, odometer- and hour-driven due dates, and a paper trail your auditors and insurers can trust. Telematics tells you where a truck is. Curator tells you what's about to break.

Heavy machinery

Hydraulics, attachments and hour-based service lives, all watched

Excavators, loaders and hydraulic trucks run on hours, not miles. Curator tracks both, applies severe-service rules where the work is hard, and covers body equipment too: reefers, lift gates and hydraulics.

  • Severe-service rules. Shorter intervals kick in automatically for hard-working units.
  • Odometer and hour tracking. Readings from telematics, drivers or the shop.
  • Lifetime cost per machine. Know which units earn their keep and which to replace.

Everything included

The shop, dispatch and the office in one system

Fleet health

Know which unit needs you first.

  • Worst-first ranking. Every vehicle sorted by what's overdue, with odometer and hours tracking.
  • Wear components. Every wear part's % of life used, alerts at 90% and projected replacement dates.
  • Issues & faults queue. Every fault gets an owner. Telematics fault codes sync from Samsara- and Geotab-style systems.
  • Fuel logs. Fuel economy tracking with flags for unusual fills.
  • Safety recall checks. Every VIN checked against NHTSA recalls automatically.
  • AI photo intake. Photograph the door sticker and VIN plate. The VIN is decoded, specs researched and service intervals loaded.

Dispatch & drivers

Drivers tap a link. You see everything.

  • Dispatch board. Trips, loads, a 4-step tracker and driver pay. Drivers never see customer rates.
  • Driver portal. A texted link with no login: stops, GPS check-ins, signed PODs with photos and optional live location.
  • Paperwork that prints itself. Rate confirmations, BOLs and PODs, ready to print.
  • Send from your company email. Texts go out through carrier gateways, with no SMS service to pay for.
  • Submission review queue. Staff verify every driver POD before it counts.

Audit-ready, always

Find the gaps before an inspector does.

  • Automated fleet audit. Cross-checks every record for completeness.
  • Maintenance & failure records. Costs, parts, technicians and downtime minutes per unit.
  • SOPs & documents. Versioned procedures and manuals the AI can read.
  • Team & security. Roles, access by section and two-factor sign-in.

Connections

Works with the systems you already run.

  • API tokens. Scoped, revocable keys for each workspace, for ERP connections.
  • ERP webhooks. Signed, instant push of submissions and audits.
  • Installs like an app. Add Curator to any phone's home screen.
  • Ship your own freight. Post loads to KTMC-certified carriers free with Ship Goods.

Traceability

Any batch, traced up and down in one click

Every batch links back to its ingredient lots and forward to the customers who received it. Run a timed test recall whenever you like, so you know the answer before an auditor or a regulator asks.

  • One-up, one-down. Ingredient lots to finished batches to shipments.
  • Timed test recalls. Practise against the clock and keep the result as evidence.
  • Shipments with labels. Printable shipping labels tied to the batch.

Production

Every run, recorded as it happens.

  • Lines, products & recipes. Full recipes tied to the lines that make them.
  • Runs & batches. Production runs, downtime and changeovers, with ingredient lots from inventory.
  • Inventory & suppliers. Know what's on hand and where it came from.
  • OEE & capacity. See where the hours go on every line.

On the floor

Operators guided, not blamed.

  • Operator walkthroughs. Photo-guided start-up, shut-down and sanitation.
  • Operator app. A personal link for each operator, with checkbox, text, photo-proof and reminder steps.
  • Blurry-photo detection. Photo proof has to actually be proof.
  • Readiness broadcasts. Text and email the whole crew. The first to submit wins and the other links close.

Compliance

Audit-ready every day, not just audit week.

  • Jurisdiction code lookups. Requirements for your city and province or state, from government sources.
  • Certification gap checks. GMP, HACCP, SQF, BRCGS and FSSC, checked against your own records.
  • Evidence upload slots. A place for every record an auditor will ask for.
  • Mock audits. Scored practice audits before the real one.

Unplanned downtime costs large manufacturers about 11% of revenue, and the average food recall costs about $10M. A plant that records everything as it works catches the worn seal before the bad batch, and can prove where every lot went.

How it works

Record it once on the floor. Trace it in one click.
